Daughter is operation manager. She is now head of agricultural department but is nurse. Conflict of interest because own farm and cooperative also owns farms. If excess of chickens, ready to lay hens. She can sell these to cooperative. She gets contract.

Friend tried to run by board of cooperative because you own store and cooperative of store. But now her daughter has farm.

Board should be more powerful.

Ellen articulate and good at convince using power of communication. Scared to speak up.

She wants to be the one who talks. Even though other board members who know history.

More branches. More members. More capital. Lots of land. Farmers in Minadau does not know situation. Not very solvent.

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is a government agency, created in 1994, that provides technical training/skills development to Filipinos. Problems TESDA helps solve:

1.) Rapid technical advancements means skills can quickly become obsolete

2.) Huge out-migration is causing a brain drain

3.) Poor people are unable to gain access to technical training

Cooperative - Mission and goals. Strongly expand to vulnerable sectors. Small farmers fishers and small businesses. LMPC savings programs for kids. Good program. Teachers should be encouraged students to save. Role of parents also. Many parents are not well educated so teachers. Sometimes parents do not have good money.

Lamac is AG cooperative. Some farmers benefited from programs.

Fertilizer subsidized program.

Loans

No other options for farmers. Seems contented even though loans more expensive even though they don't know about other options. Why do ppl still get loans from cooperative? You can only apply for loans if member. Many are only members at LMPC. Many are not members of other banks. Credit investigations. Looking at net income. Many farmers are not rich enough to get loans from other banks. So they do not have options. LMPC gets loan from land bank then resell it to cooperative. A single farmer cannot go to land bank.

Natural Resources

Water is very important for cows. Use trucks to supply water. Could solve by digging well and getting water tank.
